    Sono state rese note le nomination per i Saturn Awards, i premi annuali che l’Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films assegna dal 1972 alle migliori produzioni cinematografiche, televisive di fantascienza, fantasy e horror: il premio, conosciuto anche come “Golden Scroll”, è costituito da una rappresentazione di Saturno, racchiuso in un anello di pellicola. Tra i film da tenere d’occhio, “300″ e “Harry Potter e l’ordine della Fenice”, mentre per quanto riguarda le serie tv è ovviamente “Lost” a portarsi a casa il maggior numero di nominations con la candidatura a migliore serie, le nominations di Matthew Fox e Evangeline Lily come migliori protagonisti, Michael Emerson, Josh Holloway, Terry O’Quinn e Elizabeth Mitchell come miglior attori non protagonisti e per l’edizione in DVD della terza stagione.
